Chapter 3 (Peachland)

Chapter 3

The system spoke again, announcing to all the players in the game, "The first player to qualify for an Early Pass has appeared."

"Hint: The first player to pass the game early will be rewarded with 100 bonus points at the end of the game."

Ye Nianchu: ...

What?

The roast pork in her bowl instantly lost its flavor.

What is this sudden change of mission?

Whoever wants that clue can have it!

She just wanted to survive until the game ended on the seventh day, but now she’s being forced to fight head-on. On top of that, she’s now a target for other players.

What a pain!

This game threw her into chaos right from the start.

Early pass?

More like early death!

She’s just a new player, and early passing was never meant for beginners.

Even experienced players with all sorts of advantages might struggle with this.

Anyone who has played a few rounds of the game would understand that.

The system is still the same as always, pretending to give helpful tips but really just setting people up!

Normally, passing a round gives only 20 points, but passing early gives double. The first player to pass early gets 100 points.

But no matter how many points you get, you still need to survive to claim them.

Ye Nianchu frowned and tried to delete the photo, but the delete button turned gray and didn’t respond.

She knew it.

---

The two players at the next table froze.

Ding Qi, in particular, could barely hide his shock.

You have to realize, although the system mentioned early passing, not all players are eligible. To pass early, you first need a "ticket."

How long has the game been going on, and someone already qualified for an early pass?

Either there’s a high-level player, or someone got really lucky and stumbled upon the qualification by accident.

If Ye Nianchu knew what Ding Qi was thinking, she would have smiled and said, "You call this luck? You can have it if you want!"

"What does this mean? Someone has already passed?" Deng Lan asked Ding Qi curiously.

"It’s not that easy."

Realizing he misspoke, Ding Qi quickly corrected himself, "The system says they’ve qualified, not that they’ve passed. I’m sure passing the game won’t be that simple."

Deng Lan, being a newbie, didn’t know that getting an early pass meant losing the chance for a normal pass.

It’s a much more dangerous path. You could either go from a bicycle to a motorcycle, or you could end up with nothing left.

Deng Lan just thought that whoever got the "first" qualification must be a powerful player. If she knew where that player was, she and Ding Qi could try to join forces with them.

The clear river moved slowly, and a cold wind blew across its surface.

Deng Lan tightened her clothes and looked out the window, "Why did it suddenly get so cold?"

The weather was changing too fast.

Ding Qi was still thinking about the early pass and didn’t pay attention to Deng Lan’s words. In places near mountains and rivers, it’s normal for the weather to change quickly—nothing unusual.

At that moment, a slim figure walked by. She had long hair down to her waist, wore a black trench coat that contrasted with her smooth, fair skin, and her appearance was striking.

Ding Qi glanced over. This person had been there when he was talking to Deng Lan.

In this round, the residents of Daiyong Township should be NPCs, and the players are among the tourists.

A tourist showing up alone was already suspicious.

Deng Lan didn’t think much of it, but she was a little annoyed to see Ding Qi distracted while looking at another woman.

"It's just an NPC. What’s so interesting? Men really are creatures who only care about appearances."

Chapter 2 (Peachland)

Chapter 2 "It's not impossible," the man across from her said, picking up some food with his chopsticks. "The system doesn’t reveal anything, and there's no response when we ask." Deng Lan agreed. She had been watching a drama at home, and then, in a blink, she was suddenly in this game. She couldn’t quit; it felt like a bad deal she had no choice but to accept. She had never seen a game this awful. Luckily, she was fortunate. When she met Ding Qi, another new player, Deng Lan was relieved to finally find a teammate. Being alone in the game was scarier than being pulled into it. "Why don’t we stay near the town exit and, on the sixth day, leave right away at dawn?" Deng Lan suggested. A hint of sarcasm flashed in Ding Qi’s eyes, but he didn’t show it. He seriously analyzed, "I think the game won’t let us pass that easily. The closer we get to the exit, the more dangerous it might be." Deng Lan didn’t know what Ding Qi was thinking, but hi

Max-Level Big Shot in the Survival Game

When Ye Nianchu is brought back into the game as a newbie, her bad luck seems to follow her everywhere. As she searches for clues, she heads straight for the BOSS. But stockpiling supplies turns into a crisis as she struggles on the way. "This game is too hard," she mutters. "Maybe all my luck was used up just meeting Qin Mubai." When they first meet, Ye Nianchu sees the boy with a paintbrush and thinks, "This NPC is really good-looking." Later, though, the boy holds a craft knife like a killer, but his smile is both kind and harmless. "Others are just trying to survive," she thinks. "He’s just playing a game. What kind of game is this? Can I report him for cheating?" In this game, players face a peaceful town that suddenly becomes a dangerous apocalypse, songs from the deep sea, a train that disappears mysteriously, a strange rainforest, and a weird sanatorium. "Danger keeps coming. Players either finish tasks to leave or die in t

Chapter 5 (Peachland)

Chapter 5 There were meals available at the B&B, but of course, they cost extra. After dinner, Ye Nianchu went up to the public terrace. From there, she could see the entire town at a glance. Smoke rose from the chimneys along the riverbank, and her gaze fell on the Huanzhen River. On the sixth day, if she couldn't leave this place, the mission would fail. The first day was almost over, and she didn’t have much time left to figure out how to pass the game. As the wind blew through the mountains, lifting her hair and the hem of her clothes, she suddenly noticed a figure. On the other side of the terrace, in front of an easel, sat a young man. He was tall and had a handsome, upright figure. His face was like it had been chiseled by a master sculptor. Pale skin, delicate features—he looked like a portrait come to life. Even from a distance, Ye Nianchu found it hard to look away. The boy held a paintbrush in his hand. His fingers were long and elegant. His clean, gentle appearance

Chapter 11 (Peachland)

Chapter 11 Some people, curious about the scene, came closer and quickly felt sick. The thought that the fish they had eaten for a midnight snack last night might have come from this river only made their fear worse. "I never want to eat fish again," someone said, shuddering. Nearby, several tourists who had stayed at the same B&B as the deceased, along with the B&B owner, stood together, looking very worried. The person they had shared a meal with just yesterday was now dead. "I saw Deng Lan last night; how could this happen?" Zhou Yun said, trembling. "Boss, did Deng Lan leave the B&B last night?" someone asked. The B&B was small, run by the owner herself, with no other staff except for a cleaning lady. The owner usually stayed at the front desk until locking up for the night before going to bed. The owner, looking pale and nervous, hesitated before answering, "I—I don't know. I didn’t pay much attention." The owner knew Den

Chapter 6 (Peachland)

Chapter 6 "As for the early clearance, those who got their qualification today might be S-ranked players," Wang Hai said. Wang Hai was still searching for someone, so he couldn’t give more details. Liang Zuo and Zhou Wen felt anxious but tried to hide it. They were beginning to think Wang Hai, who bragged about being a top player, seemed more like a con artist. "You newbies don’t know anything," Wang Hai said, glancing at them. "Since we're in the same game, let me give you a tip. For newbies like you, besides completing the quests, you should avoid top S-ranked players." "If you meet someone else, you might get lucky and clear the game with them. But if you run into one particular player, you’d better be careful." "Who?" Liang Zuo asked, leaning in. "We don’t know his name, but his last name is Qin. He’s an S-ranked big shot. It’s said that in one game round, almost everyone died, not because of the game, but because of him. T
