Saturday, Lin Wan's Home

At the moment the phone screen lit up and the alarm was about to ring, Luo Zixuan opened his eyes. He summoned his spiritual energy and, with lightning-like speed, turned off the alarm, then carefully looked down into his arms.

Nestled in his embrace was Lin Wan, his face flushed as he slept. Perhaps still affected by the moment, Lin Wan's brows were slightly furrowed.

He turned over, shifting from a position facing away from Luo Zixuan to one facing him directly.

Lin Wan's breath, warm and rhythmic, gently blew against Luo Zixuan's neck, sending a ticklish sensation through him.

Just as Luo Zixuan, his heart racing, extended his arm to pull his partner a little closer, a fluffy little foot pressed against his abs.

Then, an irresistible force suddenly surged from his abs, and in a daze, Luo Zixuan was knocked off the bed.

Luo Zixuan: ???

Looking at the cat that once again disrupted his romantic advances, Luo Zixuan narrowed his slanted phoenix eyes.

Brushing off his clothes, he got up from the floor and glared fiercely at Han Ning as he walked towards the bed, his steps bold and determined.

Today, he was going to make this cat understand who the real master of the house was!

With a fierce stride, Luo Zixuan approached, but then, under Han Ning's impatient warning gaze, he cowardly retreated.

Since this fat cat learned that he had regained his memory, life had become difficult for him.

Wiping his face, Luo Zixuan walked toward the kitchen, ready to prepare a heartfelt breakfast.

Using his spiritual power, he shaped the fried eggs into two perfect hearts. As he watched the eggs sizzle in the pan, he couldn’t help but feel troubled.

His memories had completely returned, and he was acutely aware of all the foolish things he had done before.

Because Luo Zixuan knew that he mustn’t let Lin Wan find out about his regained memory until he calmed his partner’s anger, he had frequently been threatened by Han Ning during this time.

So what should he do? Why had he been so foolish back then, unable to see any clues...

After plating the fried eggs, Luo Zixuan looked at the lavish breakfast spread on the table and sighed as he called for Lin Wan to wake up.

Sigh, as the saying goes, to win a person’s heart, you must first win their stomach. Once Wan Wan got used to his cooking, maybe getting beaten wouldn't hurt so much! Luo Zixuan thought gloomily.

Squatting gently by the bed, Luo Zixuan ignored Han Ning's disdainful "Why are you here again? I want to sleep" expression and softly began his wake-up service.

“Wan Wan, Wan Wan, it’s time to get up. Breakfast is ready, waiting for you to eat~”

“Luo Zixuan, are you disgusting? Stop pretending to be cute on purpose.”

Woken up by Luo Zixuan's nauseating antics, Lin Wan pushed the handsome face at the bedside away.

“Why do I feel like you’ve been getting weirder lately?”

Slowly sitting up from the covers, Lin Wan subconsciously rubbed Han Ning while lazily throwing a suspicious glance at Luo Zixuan.

“Luo Zixuan, are you hiding something from me again?”

!!!

“No, not at all.”

Surprised by his partner's sharp intuition, Luo Zixuan's heart raced for a moment, then without hesitation, he tossed the frying pan towards Han Ning’s head.

“Maybe I got scared? This morning, Han Ning suddenly kicked me and knocked me off the bed. I still haven’t recovered from that.”

After speaking, Luo Zixuan took the opportunity to lower his gaze, adopting a look of someone wronged after being bullied by a bully.

Han Ning: ???

Hit on the head by a frying pan falling from the sky, Han Ning was momentarily stunned, then its eyes glinted with fury as it looked at Luo Zixuan.

“Meow!”

You little brat with the surname Luo, are you tired of living?!

However, Han Ning's arrogance was too apparent. Just after scolding Luo Zixuan, it felt a gentle tap on its head.

Looking up angrily, it softened its tone upon seeing Lin Wan's face.

“Meow~”

He’s bullying me!

Seeing Han Ning's obedient and soft demeanor, Lin Wan, who had originally intended to scold it, felt his heart soften again.

Rubbing Han Ning’s little head, Lin Wan spoke gently.

“Next time, don’t be so fierce.”

Luo Zixuan: ???

He looked incredulously at his partner, feeling that Lin Wan was being too much.

Is his status now even less than that of a little cat?!

As Lin Wan began to realize that his actions seemed a bit unfair in Luo Zixuan's gaze, he cleared his throat.

“Cough, didn’t we just finish breakfast? Shall we go eat together?”

Gently pinching Luo Zixuan’s fingers, Lin Wan attempted to change the subject.

“Okay.”

To Lin Wan’s surprise, Luo Zixuan was unusually easy to appease today.

Luo Zixuan handed Lin Wan a cup of warm water, then smiled slightly at Han Ning, who was secretly baring its teeth at him, and said pointedly,

“Han Ning, you need to behave these days; the college entrance exam is coming up. You mustn’t disturb Wan Wan and let him maintain a calm mindset, got it?”

Watching Han Ning’s face twist in distress, Luo Zixuan let out a quiet sigh of relief, knowing that the fact that he had regained his memory wouldn’t be revealed anytime soon.

As for after the college entrance exam...

Luo Zixuan shot a secret glare at Han Ning, gradually adopting a mindset of “if I’m going down, I’m taking you with me.”

He also had some dirt on that fat cat; the reason Wan Wan had been misrepresented in the cultivation world was all because of it!

If things went south, it would be better to drag both sides down together. Having someone (or a cat) share the blame would certainly ease the situation.

Thus, unbeknownst to Lin Wan, Luo Zixuan had exchanged glances with Han Ning several times, a silent battle of wills.

At the dining table, nestled in Lin Wan’s embrace, Han Ning felt a bit restless.

For some reason, the Luo Zixuan who usually avoided him had been oddly bold today. Remembering how Luo Zixuan had warned him about the college entrance exam, Han Ning felt a wave of resentment.

“Meow!”

Seeing the fluffy little furball and the silk trying to sneak into Lin Wan’s arms while it wasn't paying attention, the pent-up anger in Han Ning exploded.

With a quick leap, it dashed over and knocked the two little ones down, and then the three of them began to fiercely tussle on the living room floor.

"Huh, it can't handle Luo Zixuan, so how can it handle the two of us?"

Sitting in the chair, Lin Wan looked at the pets that had been happily "playing" all morning, and he sincerely expressed his thoughts.

"Their bond is really great; they’re playing together so early." They didn’t even come over to keep him company.

Watching the three animals on the floor fighting fiercely, Luo Zixuan paused, then offered a hypocritical agreement.

"That's right; their bond is pretty good. Look, they can't even be bothered with you."

With a sly grin, Luo Zixuan gave Lin Wan a warm smile.

"Come on, let's eat. It'll get cold if we wait too long."

---

The joyful weekend quickly passed. After a three-day break, the high school seniors faced one of the most important exams of their lives—the college entrance examination.

The understanding and memory brought by the divine-level perception were terrifying. Moreover, since Luo Zixuan had regained his memories, the three-day exam, which was exhausting for most students, was nothing for him.

However, regardless of that, they still needed to celebrate properly.

Back at the villa, Lin Wan took out the hot pot he had previously bought, preparing to enjoy a hot pot meal at home.

Just as everything was ready—the ingredients laid out, the condiments arranged, and the pot boiling—Lin Wan was about to invite Luo Zixuan to start cooking when a furry little paw pressed down on his eager hand.

"Wan Ge, wait a minute! I have something important to tell you."

A youthful voice echoed in the living room. Lin Wan looked down, surprised.

"Hanning, you can talk??!"

"That's not important. What's important is what I have to say next."

With a cold smile, Hanning looked at Luo Zixuan with a "you’re in big trouble" expression, it's tone very serious.

"Coincidentally, Wan Wan, I also have something important to tell you."

Finally, it has come?

Luo Zixuan sneered, thinking to himself.

Both truths coming out at once; who knows who will get in trouble?

In early September, during a Mathematical Analysis class at A University of Science and Technology, the sophomore students were noticeably distracted. The young professor at the podium glanced down and spotted a large group of students engrossed in their phones. Though he wasn’t a high school teacher, he couldn’t help but lament inwardly: “This generation is worse than the last. Even in Math Analysis class, they dare to slack off?” He could already envision the dismal outcomes on the final grades. Clearing his throat somewhat theatrically, he still received no attention. Growing annoyed, the professor resolved to be tough with the grades this year to combat this poor attitude. At the back of the classroom, Ge Zhicheng's heart raced as he continuously refreshed the backend of the academic system's page. What the professor didn’t know was that today was the day for second-year students in the College of Science to be reassigned to dormitories; the assignment list would be post

Jiang Yan was awakened by the mechanical broadcast of the main system. In the desolate mountain forest blanketed by thick snow, a mechanical voice echoed: [Dungeon: "Sheep's Forest," Progress: 20%] [Player: Li Xue, Escape Progress: 50%] The distant sky was a heavy gray, surrounded by gnarled black branches resembling the haunting spirits of a graveyard. Amid the howling wind, there seemed to be the growls of wild beasts. At this moment, Jiang Yan was asleep in the loft of a small wooden cabin deep in the forest, covered with a duck down comforter and lying on a soft velvet blanket. The fireplace in the room was burning brightly, filling the air with the sweet scent of roasted chestnuts, while the raging wind and snow outside were of no concern to him. "Why has the dungeon progress still only been 20% after five days? How many are left alive now?" Jiang Yan nestled deeper into the comforter, lazily asking. "Oh, Ancestor, you’re awake?" the syst

“Bang—” The air trembled, and bright light hit Gu Zhan's eyelids, making him squint. “Patient 707 has been admitted.” A cold female voice sounded. Patient 707? Who? Gu Zhan squinted against the blinding light and realized he was lying down under a surgical shadowless lamp. Next to him stood several people in deep green surgical scrubs, their faces obscured by the light. One of them leaned over to look at him; the blue medical mask covered most of his features, leaving only a pair of narrow, dark eyes visible. He said, “707 has woken up. Administer a sedative.” A syringe pierced the back of Gu Zhan's hand, and the cold liquid flowed in, gradually blurring his consciousness... ... “Crash—” “Bang!” The sound of metal clashing echoed sharply. A metal bed was forcefully pushed away, sliding a great distance before crashing against the wall. Gu Zhan's head struck the bed frame heavily, and the intense pain momentarily brought him back to awareness. Then came the sound of a door

On the weekend, it was time for the second-year students of the School of Science to move dormitories. The hallway on the third floor of Building Seven was bustling with noise, filled with voices, footsteps, and the clattering of suitcase wheels rolling over the floor, creating a chaotic and irritating atmosphere. Lu Yuxing’s daily necessities were mostly simple, so he didn’t have many belongings. Aside from his bed, he managed to pack everything into a few large boxes. He finished organizing his things earlier than the other two and pushed his suitcase to Dorm 323 ahead of time. Dorm 323 had previously been occupied by fourth-year students. After the seniors graduated in July, it remained empty, which saved Lu Yuxing and his friends a lot of hassle when changing dorms. The dorm was quite empty; apart from some dust on the desk and bed, it was overall clean. The large tiled floor was very accommodating for those with obsessive-compulsive tendencies, perfectly fitting the preferences

Shang Jue pushed Lu Yuxing down from his chest. Lu Yuxing wrapped his arms around his waist, keeping him in place. “I’ll be careful this time,” he said, lowering his head again to kiss him gently for a long time. After what felt like an eternity, they parted. Shang Jue noticed Lu Yuxing's flushed face and damp lips up close, feeling a sudden awkwardness. He cleared his throat. Kissing a dog with memories feels different. Lu Yuxing warmly held him, a smile curling at the corners of his lips. Shang Jue couldn’t help but doubt whether the person in front of him was the same as half an hour ago. He raised his hands, pinching Lu Yuxing’s cheeks and pulling at them. Remembering that he was still carrying a pot on his back, he started to unhappily hold him accountable. “You said I was fishing for you. What exactly did I do to fish you?” Lu Yuxing hadn’t expected Shang Jue to bring this up at that moment. As Shang Jue tugged at his face, Lu Yuxing tilted his head but didn’t break
