Liu Shuyao's delicate feet barely touched the ground, her knees resting on the edge of the bed, moving so lightly it was almost silent, like a cat's paw gliding over a pristine blanket.

Carefully, she crawled toward her boyfriend.

Her body seemed to meld into the darkness of the night, her curvaceous silhouette faintly illuminated by the moonlight filtering through the curtains.

Especially the tail behind her seemed to have a life of its own.

With each subtle movement of Liu Shuyao's waist, she advanced slowly, her body quivering enticingly.

Each tremble carried a hint of ambiguity.

The sliding door was slightly ajar, and the curtains fluttered in the sea breeze, as if intrigued by this intimate performance.

Liu Shuyao gently lifted her boyfriend's blanket and slipped inside.

Xiang Ran was deeply asleep, lost in a vivid dream.

In his dream, the school beauty felt

soft and so close that her enticing scent enveloped him like a wave, igniting an indescribable desire within Xiang Ran.

He frowned, feeling a strange

discomfort in his body. His blood surged, and he felt parched.

Suddenly, cool fingertips brushed against his collarbone, sending a jolt of electricity through his nerves.

As those fingers wandered, the sensation was both cool and soft, spreading across every inch of his skin.

The touch felt so real that Xiang Ran

instinctively grasped the hand resting on his chest.

The coolness from his palm, soft and smooth, made him feel as if he had sunk into a gentle cloud.

The sensation was almost unbelievable.

Liu Shuyao, caught off guard by her boyfriend's movement, initially thought she had woken Xiang Ran.

Not daring to move again, she obediently lay beside him, took his hand, and placed it on her waist. She snuggled closer to him and soon drifted off to sleep.

Liu Shuyao only managed a few hours of sleep. Feeling a bit restless and uncomfortable, especially in the clothes that seemed to chafe, she flushed at the thought of it. As dawn broke, she quietly got up.

Xiang Ran was awakened by the alarm for the sunrise, feeling weak and disoriented, aware only that he had just experienced an indescribable dream.

Groggily, he glanced to his side, sensing something was off but unsure what it was. After a moment of confusion, he reached for his phone to turn off the alarm.

He took a moment to collect himself in bed, staring at his right hand. Was the touch from that dream really so vivid?

Not wanting to dwell on it, he quickly found some clothes and headed to wash up.

As he opened the sliding door, he saw Liu Shuyao on the balcony with a sketchpad, the page covered in dark scribbles that he couldn't quite decipher.

Their room had an excellent view, perfect for watching the sunrise.

"You’re up so early?" he asked, his voice still a bit hoarse from sleep.

"Mm. Did you sleep well, hubby?"

Liu Shuyao had changed into a bohemian floral dress and wore a pair of tassel earrings, exuding an artistic vibe as she held her paintbrush.

Xiang Ran felt embarrassed to admit he had dreamed of her all night, but with her so close, he felt he could almost see a different scenery through her dress, that familiar sensation washing over him again.

"I slept pretty well," he replied, then left to avoid overthinking, heading straight for the shower.

When he came out..

The doorbell rang.

Before Xiang Ran could ask who it was, Liu Shuyao put down her paintbrush and quickly ran to open the door.

"Good morning! Here’s your breakfast," the server said.

Xiang Ran followed her and took the variety of breakfast items from the cart, placing them on the living room table.

Curious, he glanced over the spread.

He noticed an assortment of foods: fresh fruits, sandwiches, dumplings, and various drinks, all combining Eastern and Western styles. "Are we going to finish all this?"

"It may look like a lot, but the portions are actually small," Liu Shuyao replied.

"The drinks and fruit can be saved for later."

She arranged the food from the tray, setting a cup of soy milk with a straw in front of Xiang Ran.

"What time is the sunrise?" she asked.

Checking his phone, Xiang Ran answered, "In about half an hour. If we eat quickly, we should finish just in time."

"Do you want to watch from the room or go to the beach?"

"Um..."

"Let’s stay in the room; the sketchpad is right here, and I want to capture it."

Xiang Ran had no objections.

The ocean looked mysterious and deep under the night’s cover, the gentle waves lapping at the shore, creating a melodic sound.

Suddenly, a hint of light blue appeared on the eastern horizon. The night’s darkness quietly retreated, making way for dawn. The stars faded, and the sky transformed into a gradient canvas of deep blue to lighter shades.

In this soft color palette, everything felt just right.

Worried Liu Shuyao might get cold, Xiang Ran went inside to grab one of his shirts and draped it over her shoulders.

As her brush glided softly across the canvas, Liu Shuyao sketched the outline where the sea met the sky. Her gaze darted between the canvas and the horizon, capturing every change.

As time passed, a faint orange light emerged in the light blue sky.

The rising sun, like a warm heart, gradually ascended. The orange glow spread, reflecting on the ocean's surface and turning the undulating waves into a golden hue.

Liu Shuyao’s brush became vibrant and colorful. She dipped it into orange paint, delicately adding touches along the sea’s edge, capturing the magical moment of night transitioning to dawn.

"What do you think the sunrise symbolizes?" Liu Shuyao suddenly turned to Xiang Ran, her eyes bright and cheerful.

"A good piece of art?" he suggested, unsure how to answer her philosophical question.

"It's you."

Xiang Ran felt a bit flustered. Was that a cheesy line? How was he supposed to respond?

Did it have a special meaning? Was she waiting for a particular answer?

Was it a hint?

He felt like his internal system was about to alert him again!

Were there any universal responses he could use?

Fortunately, Liu Shuyao didn’t mind his silence and continued speaking, her expression changing.

"I plan to use this piece for a competition. What do you think?"

"I think it holds a lot of meaning."

"Great! You can do whatever you want."

Xiang Ran nodded, unsure of what Liu Shuyao truly meant, but he guessed it was a way to commemorate their first sunrise together. After all, girls often valued such moments, right?

He watched as Liu Shuyao focused intently on her painting, the dawn colors on the canvas merging with the sunrise reflected in her eyes.

Translation Update! 🍙 Translation Update! 🍙 ✨ Quick note: English isn't my first language, so please understand there might be some typos or awkward phrasing - I'm doing my best! ✨ Hey everyone, just a quick update: As of today, April 28, 2025 , I want to give you all a heads-up about a few small issues you might come across in the story, specifically with some of the prop names. It's not exactly a typo issue—it's more about changes I've made over time. For instance, I originally used the term 'data concealment number' but later changed it to 'number concealment data.' Since these are just prop names in the story, it's not a major issue for the plot, but I totally get that some of you might find it a little annoying if you're really particular about details. ...

cysvhhz Chapter 1

“Bang—” The air trembled, and bright light hit Gu Zhan's eyelids, making him squint. “Patient 707 has been admitted.” A cold female voice sounded. Patient 707? Who? Gu Zhan squinted against the blinding light and realized he was lying down under a surgical shadowless lamp. Next to him stood several people in deep green surgical scrubs, their faces obscured by the light. One of them leaned over to look at him; the blue medical mask covered most of his features, leaving only a pair of narrow, dark eyes visible. He said, “707 has woken up. Administer a sedative.” A syringe pierced the back of Gu Zhan's hand, and the cold liquid flowed in, gradually blurring his consciousness... ... “Crash—” “Bang!” The sound of metal clashing echoed sharply. A metal bed was forcefully pushed away, sliding a great distance before crashing against the wall. Gu Zhan's head struck the bed frame heavily, and the intense pain momentarily brought him back to awareness. Then came the sound of a door ...

The broadcast from the main system echoed throughout the instance. In the pitch-black snowy night, accompanied by the eerie howling wind of the ebony forest, Jiang Yan felt utterly disoriented. The "Hunter" in front of him couldn’t hear the main system’s intrusive voice and was still waiting for his "little sheep" to kiss him. However, Jiang Yan simply reached out, gently touched the demon-like ram horns of the "Hunter," and then unhesitatingly pulled the blanket over his head. Hunter: "...So disobedient." Soon after, a kiss landed softly on the top of Jiang Yan's head. A pair of long, broad hands rested on his waist as the "Hunter" drifted into slumber. Meanwhile, the game forum’s players erupted into an explosive celebration: [I’m dying of laughter! What kind of penalty is this?? It’s my first time hearing such a ridiculous deduction reason!] [“Please immediately kiss the BOSS.” What the heck? Hahaha...] [This will go down...

Jiang Yan ignored 663, curling up under the blanket like a quail. The "Hunter" holding him would occasionally rub his head, seemingly captivated by the texture. Jiang Yan obediently played the role of a "pet." Based on his years of watching horror movies and reading scary stories, he knew that being "clever" or "kind-hearted" in such games only led to quicker deaths. "You still have five days," the Hunter said, savoring the softness and compliance of the person in his arms. His pale, pupil-less eyes glinted with pleasure. Although a sheep's head couldn't show human expressions, it was clear he was smiling. Hearing this, the four people huddled in the cage shivered in unison. Only Wang Yu sat blankly by the edge, tears streaming as he gazed at his lover. The "Cops and Robbers" Game The "Hunter" acted as the cop, giving the players (the "robbers") ten days to escape the forest. If they found t...

In early September, during a Mathematical Analysis class at A University of Science and Technology, the sophomore students were noticeably distracted. The young professor at the podium glanced down and spotted a large group of students engrossed in their phones. Though he wasn’t a high school teacher, he couldn’t help but lament inwardly: “This generation is worse than the last. Even in Math Analysis class, they dare to slack off?” He could already envision the dismal outcomes on the final grades. Clearing his throat somewhat theatrically, he still received no attention. Growing annoyed, the professor resolved to be tough with the grades this year to combat this poor attitude. At the back of the classroom, Ge Zhicheng's heart raced as he continuously refreshed the backend of the academic system's page. What the professor didn’t know was that today was the day for second-year students in the College of Science to be reassigned to dormitories; the assignment list would be post...
