"How beautiful~"

Liu Shuyao gasped.

Inside the room.

The huge floor-to-ceiling window was open, the curtains swaying gently in the breeze, while the waves softly lapped at the distant shore. Moonlight filtered through the sheer curtains, casting everything in a warm white glow.

Liu Shuyao stepped into the spacious, bright living room, where a soft wool carpet covered the floor, and elegant bottles of wine were displayed on the smooth marble countertop. The sofa was plush and inviting, as if designed just for her.

The scent of roses filled the air, creating a romantic pathway that beckoned her further inside.

She pushed open the door.

The school's beauty's gaze landed on the bed, adorned with a bed of fiery roses that danced gracefully in the breeze.

In the center of the bed lay a gift box, its outline gradually becoming clearer under the moonlight, like a mystery waiting for her to unravel.

Liu Shuyao's heart seemed to race, a wave of inexplicable anticipation rising within her, as she hesitated, feeling this was a moment full of significance.

She turned to look at her boyfriend, feeling unexpectedly nervous.

But the joy in her eyes was impossible to conceal.

"Want to open it and see?"

Xiang Ran followed the beauty, watching her reaction.

Liu Shuyao bit her lip gently, as if trying to mask her excitement. Her eyelashes fluttered, like butterflies dancing in her gaze.

After a moment of silence, before she could speak, her cheeks flushed lightly.

She approached the bed, crouching down to examine the gift box in the center.

The box was covered in smooth satin, its delicate patterns and exquisite bow making it all the more mysterious and alluring.

Liu Shuyao gently touched the gift box, feeling the softness of the satin.

She slowly untied the bow and opened the lid.

"Oh my~"

Liu Shuyao seemed a bit incredulous as she turned to Xiang Ran.

"Is it the limited edition HBJ255 anniversary model?"

"Do you like it?"

As soon as Xiang Ran's words fell, he saw Liu Shuyao dash toward him.

Instinctively, she clung to his body, her legs wrapping around his waist, their bodies pressed closely together, warmth rising between them.

Xiang Ran, worried she might fall, grasped her full hips gently, giving them a light pat.

His unintentional action made Liu Shuyao tremble, a subtle electric current coursing through her, as if every cell in her body had become sensitive.

"Mm~"

Liu Shuyao buried her head in Xiang Ran's neck, her soft response resembling a moan.

"Shall we go to the sofa?"

Xiang Ran asked hoarsely, looking down at Liu Shuyao, who was nestled like a koala in his arms.

Without saying a word, Liu Shuyao desperately burrowed deeper into his embrace, twisting her body, leaving Xiang Ran with no choice but to continue carrying her to the living room.

He gently set her down on the sofa, feeling increasingly shy under her direct and unabashed gaze.

"Do you drink wine?" he asked, attempting to change the subject.

"I don't drink; I'm not good at it."

"Me neither."

"Then why did you leave it here?" Liu Shuyao tugged at her boyfriend.

Xiang Ran had no choice but to sit on the sofa as the campus belle, Liu Shuyao, draped her legs over him.

"I read in a guide that this is more romantic."

Xiang Ran honestly replied.

"The gifts and that public account—did you get those from the guide too?"

Before he could answer, Liu Shuyao's soft lips brushed against his neck, a warm breath spreading with the motion, making him feel like a little kitten had scratched him.

Xiang Ran's mind went blank, leaving only a strong sensation! This ambiguous feeling was utterly overwhelming!

He awkwardly straightened his back, trying to clear his mind.

"Not really. Only the beach camping and roses were from the guide."

"The gift... I thought it should match your ideals."

"The public account is simple; just set up a backend, run a scheduled task with Quartz, and MySQL queries will take care of the rest."

"Why are you so honest..."

Liu Shuyao was amused by Xiang Ran's serious explanations, feeling delighted inside.

Unable to resist, Liu Shuyao pulled him close and planted a kiss on his cheek.

"That’s your reward~"

Xiang Ran's heart raced, and he felt completely stiff.

The sudden action left him stunned, as if a delicate feather had brushed past him.

"What are we doing now?"

As they caught their breath, Liu Shuyao placed her hand between them, drawing gentle circles with her finger and asking softly.

Xiang Ran’s heart raced faster, his breathing grew heavier. Glancing at the time, he realized it was getting late.

"Let’s shower first."

"We have to watch the sunrise tomorrow."

Shower??

What comes after that??

Help!

So nervous!

Liu Shuyao instinctively held her breath, too shy to speak, just tugging at his sleeve, not daring to look up, resting her head against his chest with a needy expression.

"Okay."

Seeing her agree, Xiang Ran sighed in relief.

"Then I’ll go first~"

After she said that, Liu Shuyao took her clothes and headed into the shower. With all the surprises tonight, just thinking about what was to come made her heart race.

Watching her eager figure, Xiang Ran felt he should step out to the balcony for some fresh air to calm down.

Too close!

This could easily lead to trouble.

Finally, with some space between them, he took a moment to check his phone.

As soon as he opened WeChat, a flood of messages appeared in the group chat, and he glanced through them.

It turned out he and Zhao Ying were stuck on the highway.

Checking the timestamp, he saw a message from 30 minutes ago.

Xiang Ran: [Is the road open yet?]

Qi Dong: [Nope.]

Qi Dong: [Stuck in traffic for over four hours, only covered 5 kilometers.]

Fatty: [Look at me! It’s annoying, but I made it!]

Wang Hao: [I’m at the train station in a crowd; there are so many people.]

Qi Dong: [Stop showing off!]

Qi Dong: [I was planning to drive back home with Zhao Ying, thought it’d be romantic.]

Qi Dong: [Now we just want to know what the first car is doing!!!]

Xiang Ran: [Then find another topic to talk about?]

Qi Dong: [We're so hungry we're practically glued together; no energy for conversation.]

Qi Dong: [Brother Ran, what have you been up to all night? You’ve been slow to reply!]

"......"

As Xiang Ran started typing, the sound of the shower stopped behind him.

Translation Update! 🍙 Translation Update! 🍙 ✨ Quick note: English isn't my first language, so please understand there might be some typos or awkward phrasing - I'm doing my best! ✨ Hey everyone, just a quick update: As of today, April 28, 2025 , I want to give you all a heads-up about a few small issues you might come across in the story, specifically with some of the prop names. It's not exactly a typo issue—it's more about changes I've made over time. For instance, I originally used the term 'data concealment number' but later changed it to 'number concealment data.' Since these are just prop names in the story, it's not a major issue for the plot, but I totally get that some of you might find it a little annoying if you're really particular about details. ...

“Bang—” The air trembled, and bright light hit Gu Zhan's eyelids, making him squint. “Patient 707 has been admitted.” A cold female voice sounded. Patient 707? Who? Gu Zhan squinted against the blinding light and realized he was lying down under a surgical shadowless lamp. Next to him stood several people in deep green surgical scrubs, their faces obscured by the light. One of them leaned over to look at him; the blue medical mask covered most of his features, leaving only a pair of narrow, dark eyes visible. He said, “707 has woken up. Administer a sedative.” A syringe pierced the back of Gu Zhan's hand, and the cold liquid flowed in, gradually blurring his consciousness... ... “Crash—” “Bang!” The sound of metal clashing echoed sharply. A metal bed was forcefully pushed away, sliding a great distance before crashing against the wall. Gu Zhan's head struck the bed frame heavily, and the intense pain momentarily brought him back to awareness. Then came the sound of a door ...

The broadcast from the main system echoed throughout the instance. In the pitch-black snowy night, accompanied by the eerie howling wind of the ebony forest, Jiang Yan felt utterly disoriented. The "Hunter" in front of him couldn’t hear the main system’s intrusive voice and was still waiting for his "little sheep" to kiss him. However, Jiang Yan simply reached out, gently touched the demon-like ram horns of the "Hunter," and then unhesitatingly pulled the blanket over his head. Hunter: "...So disobedient." Soon after, a kiss landed softly on the top of Jiang Yan's head. A pair of long, broad hands rested on his waist as the "Hunter" drifted into slumber. Meanwhile, the game forum’s players erupted into an explosive celebration: [I’m dying of laughter! What kind of penalty is this?? It’s my first time hearing such a ridiculous deduction reason!] [“Please immediately kiss the BOSS.” What the heck? Hahaha...] [This will go down...

Jiang Yan ignored 663, curling up under the blanket like a quail. The "Hunter" holding him would occasionally rub his head, seemingly captivated by the texture. Jiang Yan obediently played the role of a "pet." Based on his years of watching horror movies and reading scary stories, he knew that being "clever" or "kind-hearted" in such games only led to quicker deaths. "You still have five days," the Hunter said, savoring the softness and compliance of the person in his arms. His pale, pupil-less eyes glinted with pleasure. Although a sheep's head couldn't show human expressions, it was clear he was smiling. Hearing this, the four people huddled in the cage shivered in unison. Only Wang Yu sat blankly by the edge, tears streaming as he gazed at his lover. The "Cops and Robbers" Game The "Hunter" acted as the cop, giving the players (the "robbers") ten days to escape the forest. If they found t...

In early September, during a Mathematical Analysis class at A University of Science and Technology, the sophomore students were noticeably distracted. The young professor at the podium glanced down and spotted a large group of students engrossed in their phones. Though he wasn’t a high school teacher, he couldn’t help but lament inwardly: “This generation is worse than the last. Even in Math Analysis class, they dare to slack off?” He could already envision the dismal outcomes on the final grades. Clearing his throat somewhat theatrically, he still received no attention. Growing annoyed, the professor resolved to be tough with the grades this year to combat this poor attitude. At the back of the classroom, Ge Zhicheng's heart raced as he continuously refreshed the backend of the academic system's page. What the professor didn’t know was that today was the day for second-year students in the College of Science to be reassigned to dormitories; the assignment list would be post...
