The other players were confused about what Ye Nianchu and Qin Mubai were planning. Because of Qin Mubai’s strong presence, they hesitated with their weapons.

Ye Nianchu took the homemade torch and alcohol. While Qin Mubai blocked the attacks from other players, he pushed them out of the cabin.

Now the opponents realized what they were doing. “Are you both crazy? Burning the shelter with so many face spiders outside? You’ll all die!”

They thought these two were insane and wanted to drag them down too. As the attacks outside got stronger, Ye Nianchu opened a bottle, poured half of it on the wood pile, then lit the torch and threw it on.

The rainforest air was too humid, so to be safe, she smashed the rest of the alcohol against the wall to spread the flames faster.

They still had two more bottles of alcohol, so they could use them.

The fire roared to life, quickly drying out the cabin.

Outside, the players were too shocked to attack; they only thought about the shelter being gone. Countless face spiders would rush in and kill everyone.

No one expected these two planned to burn the shelter from the start and had prepared the wood.

Some realized they needed to grab a pot to get water from the creek to put out the fire, but the face spiders blocked their way.

“It’s too late,” Ye Nianchu stepped out of the cabin and laughed softly. “With several S-class players in your team, you didn’t even notice you were being used?”

“Don’t try to divide us!”

“Without S-class players, could you force us to burn the shelter? It might be ruthless, but in a survival game, it’s about winning and losing. I admire your tactics.”

Her words made the remaining players cautious, looking around nervously.

Wu Long’s face changed; he was badly injured. If people found out he was an S-class player, he’d be dead for sure.

He Miao showed no reaction; she looked at Ye Nianchu, then focused on Qin Mubai.

He was unexpectedly strong.

If she had known, she should have tried to team up with him from the start.

With her skills, they had no reason to refuse.

To He Miao, strong teammates were allies, while weaker ones were just tools.

Qin Mubai stepped in front of Ye Nianchu as the fire quickly consumed the cabin. The face spiders charged in, and chaos erupted between players and the BOSS.

If they couldn’t escape, they would die.

Ye Nianchu handed her long knife to Qin Mubai and switched to a shorter one.

The long knife was heavy; she needed a lighter weapon to cut the spider webs.

As the fine webs came at them, Ye Nianchu and Qin Mubai worked together to cut them and take down the first face spider that jumped at them.

Morning light fully broke, and Shelter 2 was no more.

They truly had no way out and had to fight. As they cut webs and defeated face spiders, they searched for an escape route.

Luckily, they had sprayed insect repellent earlier, so the insects following the blood didn’t come for them.

In their struggle for survival, Ye Nianchu’s unlock progress increased a bit, reaching 37.

However, that little increase felt almost pointless.

At 8 AM, the system appeared on time.

It was now the seventh day of the game, with 32 surviving players, including 5 S-class players.

Translation Update! 🍙 Translation Update! 🍙 ✨ Quick note: English isn't my first language, so please understand there might be some typos or awkward phrasing - I'm doing my best! ✨ Hey everyone, just a quick update: As of today, April 28, 2025 , I want to give you all a heads-up about a few small issues you might come across in the story, specifically with some of the prop names. It's not exactly a typo issue—it's more about changes I've made over time. For instance, I originally used the term 'data concealment number' but later changed it to 'number concealment data.' Since these are just prop names in the story, it's not a major issue for the plot, but I totally get that some of you might find it a little annoying if you're really particular about details. ...

cysvhhz Chapter 1

“Bang—” The air trembled, and bright light hit Gu Zhan's eyelids, making him squint. “Patient 707 has been admitted.” A cold female voice sounded. Patient 707? Who? Gu Zhan squinted against the blinding light and realized he was lying down under a surgical shadowless lamp. Next to him stood several people in deep green surgical scrubs, their faces obscured by the light. One of them leaned over to look at him; the blue medical mask covered most of his features, leaving only a pair of narrow, dark eyes visible. He said, “707 has woken up. Administer a sedative.” A syringe pierced the back of Gu Zhan's hand, and the cold liquid flowed in, gradually blurring his consciousness... ... “Crash—” “Bang!” The sound of metal clashing echoed sharply. A metal bed was forcefully pushed away, sliding a great distance before crashing against the wall. Gu Zhan's head struck the bed frame heavily, and the intense pain momentarily brought him back to awareness. Then came the sound of a door ...

The broadcast from the main system echoed throughout the instance. In the pitch-black snowy night, accompanied by the eerie howling wind of the ebony forest, Jiang Yan felt utterly disoriented. The "Hunter" in front of him couldn’t hear the main system’s intrusive voice and was still waiting for his "little sheep" to kiss him. However, Jiang Yan simply reached out, gently touched the demon-like ram horns of the "Hunter," and then unhesitatingly pulled the blanket over his head. Hunter: "...So disobedient." Soon after, a kiss landed softly on the top of Jiang Yan's head. A pair of long, broad hands rested on his waist as the "Hunter" drifted into slumber. Meanwhile, the game forum’s players erupted into an explosive celebration: [I’m dying of laughter! What kind of penalty is this?? It’s my first time hearing such a ridiculous deduction reason!] [“Please immediately kiss the BOSS.” What the heck? Hahaha...] [This will go down...

Jiang Yan ignored 663, curling up under the blanket like a quail. The "Hunter" holding him would occasionally rub his head, seemingly captivated by the texture. Jiang Yan obediently played the role of a "pet." Based on his years of watching horror movies and reading scary stories, he knew that being "clever" or "kind-hearted" in such games only led to quicker deaths. "You still have five days," the Hunter said, savoring the softness and compliance of the person in his arms. His pale, pupil-less eyes glinted with pleasure. Although a sheep's head couldn't show human expressions, it was clear he was smiling. Hearing this, the four people huddled in the cage shivered in unison. Only Wang Yu sat blankly by the edge, tears streaming as he gazed at his lover. The "Cops and Robbers" Game The "Hunter" acted as the cop, giving the players (the "robbers") ten days to escape the forest. If they found t...

In early September, during a Mathematical Analysis class at A University of Science and Technology, the sophomore students were noticeably distracted. The young professor at the podium glanced down and spotted a large group of students engrossed in their phones. Though he wasn’t a high school teacher, he couldn’t help but lament inwardly: “This generation is worse than the last. Even in Math Analysis class, they dare to slack off?” He could already envision the dismal outcomes on the final grades. Clearing his throat somewhat theatrically, he still received no attention. Growing annoyed, the professor resolved to be tough with the grades this year to combat this poor attitude. At the back of the classroom, Ge Zhicheng's heart raced as he continuously refreshed the backend of the academic system's page. What the professor didn’t know was that today was the day for second-year students in the College of Science to be reassigned to dormitories; the assignment list would be post...
